A Rich Harvest, silk mounting, ink and colors on paper. Inscription and signature by the artist: “In the eighth month of the year 1973, Wei Zixi.” Two seals of the artist: “Lao Wei”, “Zixi shuhua.”
According to the owners, from a private collection in Hesse, collected between 1970 and 2015
Wei Zixi was from Suiping in Henan province and graduated from Henan Art Normal School. He was active at the Jiangsu Chinese Painting Academy in Nanjing and was a noted painter of landscapes and figures. He is considered a prominent artist of the Jinling School of painting
